The 5th annual Gotta Have Heart awards luncheon, chaired by Gisella Thomas, was held at Pomona Mining Company.  14 nominees were awarded plaques.

Membership

Membership grew by 68% with 136 new members.

EST and BOD Accomplishments

For You Network™  presented 3 members with Scholarships awards.  8 members received scholarships to attend the IE Business Conference.  2 members received scholarships to attend Extravaganza.

Redesigned and reestablished www.4younetwork.org and raised exposure level from less than 50 hits per month to over 75,000 hits per month.

For You Network™  Visible in the Community

For You Network™  was represented and promoted at the Office Depot Conference in Orange County.  Five members received FREE passes.  Barbara Eldridge was recruited as the new North San Diego Director.

Awards and Accomplishments

65 members were nominated and attended FREE the LA Business Journal Women Who Make A Difference awards at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

Opportunities for Members

A number of members became certified National Speakers and certified coaches.

Donations

Participants of the Gotta Have Heart donations over $1,000 in toiletries and linens for the Moreno Valley Homeless.

Social Events

12 members went on the Long Beach Gondola Ride.

The 3^rd annual Spring Fling, a fund-raiser for the For You Network, chaired Robbie Motter, was held at the Harbor House in Santa Monica.

1. Founded network with seven women and five sponsors on
May 29, 2002.
2. Recruited about 150 members.
3. Established six different meeting places: High Desert, Pomona, Palm Springs, Rancho Cucamonga, Riverside and Oceanside.
4. Deliberated the 1st Strategic Planning meeting in Palm Springs.
5. Established the ' Gotta Have Heart' awards celebrating women’s achievements.
6. Published the first Directors Handbook.
